- 3 rodajas gorditas de bonito
- 5-6 patatas medianas
- 1/2 pimiento rojo (no tenía del verde en cas
- 1 cebolla grande
- 3 dientes ajo
- 3 cucharadas salsa de tomate casera
- 1 rebanada pan del día anterior
- 1 vasito vino (al gusto)
- 2 cucharaditas pimentón dulce
- Aceite
- 1 guindilla
- Albahaca (porque no tenía perejil!!)
- Sal
Instructions to make to make Marmitako
- Cortamos el bonito en tacos y lo reservamos en un bol. La cebolla en juliana, el ajo picadito, el pan en trozos pequeños y el pimiento lo pelamos y lo cortamos en tiras.



- Ponemos un poco de aceite de oliva en una tartera grande y doramos el pimiento durante un ratito, hasta que se ponga blandito. Aprovechamos el tamaño de la tartera para freír el pan al mismo tiempo por ambos lados.


- En cuanto el pan está doradito, lo apartamos a un bol para que se escurra el aceite. Añadimos la cebolla, el ajo y la guindilla y los dejamos pochar con el pimiento alrededor de 10 minutos.

- Tras esos 10 minutos, añadimos las patatas (cortadas en trozos medianos), salamos al gusto y las doramos unos minutos. Luego añadimos el vino. Cuando el vino se evapore, es el momento de añadir la salsa de tomate (siempre tengo casera en el congelador!!) y el pimentón y mezclar todo.



- Añadimos al menos 3-4 tazas de agua y tapamos. Dejamos que se cocine a fuego medio durante al menos 20 minutos. Una vez pasado ese tiempo, comprobamos si las patatas están hechas, si no, dejamos un poquito más.

- Por último, cogemos los tacos de atún, los salamos al gusto y los introducimos en la tartera, cocinándose entre 3 y 5 minutos, dependiendo del tamaño. Ponemos albahaca picada al gusto y ya está listo para disfrutar!!!
